Well if you want to study for two years, an associate's degree would be a better option for you. A bachelor degree in early childhood education would take four years although that could be cut down to three should you take extra work loads.
A lot of people think online degrees are a breeze but the fact is that they are not if taken from an accredited online college.
There are a few colleges that I can recommend but do not be limited by these. You may do further research as this is a crucial decision.
# Penn Foster College
# Kaplan University
# Jones International Online
Whichever college you choose, make sure you check its accreditation first. Attending an unaccredited college would mean wasting your time and money. There are many diploma/degree mills out there. They will lure you into joining them by charging low fees and offering easy course content. Having a degree from such institutions is embarrassing.
You must also check out the faculty of the selected college. A background research on the qualification and experience of faculty is very important. Ask the students of that college for their opinion. They could reveal what the college may be trying to hide.
Here is a link that gives more details on early childhood education degree.

Accredited colleges are usually expensive. You could search for scholarships if you are related to einstein (lol) or seek financial aid.
Best of luck

National University should have a program for you... I don't personally like online degree programs, but National is the one most used by my colleagues that need an online program
References :
Best online Early Childhood Education Degree?
I recently received my bachelors in Social Work, and now want to teach. This was my big conflict when deciding on a major and I went the wrong way. I really want to get my bachelors in early childhood education, but I do not want to spend thousands of dollars! I am hoping to take online classes, and hoping that I can find a program that will only last 2 years. Does anyone know of anything?
